Can frequent masturbation disrupt your menstrual cycle?

Because mine has been crazy for years (I'm 17). I don't remember ever having a normal cycle where I'd have my period every month. Sometimes I'd not have it for almost two months. I have no infections or diseases. My father has hypothyroidism, but my blood tests have never indicated that I do as well, as my thyroxine level is well within the healthy range. But I do have my hair falling out almost every time I shower (around 10 or so strands), but not so much that it's been noticeable at all. I'm often very stressed, but lately I've been much better with handling that, because I know cortisol messes with LH release. Since then, I started having my period around every 5-6 weeks. I'd go to my doctor, but she's old and very conservative, and probably wouldn't like to hear that I'm a chick that has been masturbating quite frequently, and even tried to before I hit puberty (so I'd like to avoid that awkwardness if possible). My boyfriend says that constitutes as being very sexually active, but I wasn't sure because I saw forums where people said that masturbation does not affect menstruation. Anyone had a similar problem and might know what's up? Or is it probably just due to stress? I'll have to go look for a new doctor anyway. Because I had a breathing problem and her diagnosis was that I was "breathing wrong." Went to another doctor: "Oh, you're just laughing too hard, honey! OH! Look at those cute little bracelets! Is that what all the girls are wearing?" I'm sure STL has proper doctors, but I seem to run into the senile smartasses.
