Relationship age problem?

me and my gf have been going out since she was a freshman in high school and i was a sophomore she was 14 and i was 16 now my 18 birthday is coming up and she turns 16 like less then a month after me we plan on being together for a long time but her we live in florida her parents want us to brake up her step dad said hes going to need to talk to my parents when he doesn't legally have any say about her i was just wondering what we can say or do
