What happened to America?

We are going to be the worst country in the world. but i feel that we are not doing anything. people are obtuse and getting no excersise. people are unemployed and are homeless. What do u think we should do as a nation? Even my mom, a union member so as my step dad as a fireman union member might be homeless with me. What should our nation do, America?
