PARTITION of India---How was it injustice to INDIANs in general and to MUSLIMs in particular?

The british brought in the rule of "divide and rule" and somehow it got into the minds of local politicians also....Ya Jinnah wanted a separate country for muslims and at that point of time, that was probably the option they thought valid. But infact, india & pakistan & bangladesh and every neighbouring country would be truly strong had they been one single country...It is easier to break a twig than a bundle of twigs and the british did just that- seperated all the twigs from the bundle.....and the wounds are still there.....can we try and heal those now?
