What is the relationship of the length of the three side of an obtuse triangle?

An obtuse triangle is a triangle in which one of the angles is an obtuse angle. (greater than 90 degrees). Since the total degrees in any triangle is 180, an obtuse triangle can only have one angle that measures more than 90. The longest side is always opposite the obtuse angle. The length of the longest side must be less than the combined lengths of the shorter sides.
